Freeing our hair from your grasp
is high treason.

Freeing our wrists from your grasp
is high treason.

Freeing our necks from your grasp
is high treason.

Freeing the voices
is a death sentence.

We won’t beat either drums
or kitchen pots.

Justice comes quietly
like death in a dream.

No one will be happy
until we break free
from your grasp,
let you out of your own trap.
